EI Schools Rate High in USA Today Network's New York State School Quality Index: Added 11/3/2017

A good school is about more than just test grades and the USA Today Network has come up with a formula to determine how schools in New York State rank.
According to the New York State School Quality Index East Irondequoit Schools are ranked second in Monroe County-only slightly behind Rush-Henrietta. Laurelton-Pardee Intermediate School is the number two elementary school and Durand-Eastman came in at number eight.
The index uses a variety of data, including class sizes, diversity of the school population and attendance to come up with each school and district's overall score.
