East Irondequoit Eastridge High School and Ninth Grade Academy

Welcome to Eastridge High School!

When students graduate from Eastridge, we want to be sure that they will thrive in a challenging college environment, be energetic and creative workers in the careers that they choose, and add to the world as responsible citizens.

Every student should leave Eastridge successfully completing at least one college level course, though many students will go far beyond this expectation.  To reach this end, we offer an array of support structures as students enter Eastridge (International Baccalaureate Middle Years Programme, School-wide AVID strategies, tutoring and Academic Intervention Systems, and much more).  As our pupils progress, they should also complete college level courses in our IB Diploma Programme,  IB Career Programme, or Project Lead the Way Program.  They may also take Advanced Placement courses or Monroe Community College courses offered at Eastridge.  MCC courses are a result of a special partnership we have with MCC.

Eastridge was named a School of Opportunity because of its commitment to making sure that all of its students are “College and Career Ready” as they graduate each June.  This prestigious award recognizes the hard work that our very caring staff does each and every day and the commitment that our Board of Education has made toward providing a rigorous learning environment for all Lancer students.

Eastridge parents are exceptional in that they want more for their children. They stay in contact with teachers about academic progress, attend school events, and talk with their children about learning on a regular basis.  I send a weekly email to all parents and guardians with updates, explanations, and suggestions.  If you are a parent or guardian and are not receiving this E-news, please contact the attendance office to make sure your email address is correct in our computer system.

Thank you for visiting our homepage, and please don't hesitate to contact us if any assistance is needed.
