Buffalo, NY The New York State Association of Foreign Language Teachers (NYSAFLT) announces that the East Irondequoit Central School District has been awarded the James E. Allen Distinguished Foreign Language Program Award for the Western NY Region and as the state-wide winner.

The NYSAFLT James E. Allen Distinguished Foreign Language Program Award recognizes and honors outstanding foreign language programs where staff, students, parents and administrators have come together to provide outstanding courses of foreign language study that are meaningful and relevant, and contribute to a truly global education.

East Irondequoit Central School District was awarded the James E.
