The Durand Eastman library is a vibrant and safe place for students to explore their own passions with the goal of fostering a lifelong love of learning through reading, research, and community involvement. We work hard to provide our students and staff with innovative spaces and high quality resources. In the DE computer lab student are immersed in Office 365 using Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Sway to create presentations as they learn to interact in the cloud and all of the features cloud computing allows such as ease of sharing and access.
Students also use Type To Learn application in order to become accurate and efficient with typing.
Students delve into Digital Citizenship & Internet Safety in a detailed unit which includes Safe Password, Privacy, Cyberbullying, Safe & Effective Searching, Creative Credit, and Multitasking/Communicating.
