Eastridge High School

A Message From the Principal

    Tim Heaphy-Eastridge Principal

    Welcome to Eastridge High School!
When students graduate from Eastridge, we want to be sure that they will thrive in a challenging college environment, be energetic and creative workers in the careers that they choose, and add to the world as responsible citizens.

Every student should leave Eastridge successfully completing at least one college level course, though many students will go far beyond this expectation.
We have highly regarded comprehensive programs through the International Baccalaureate (Diploma Programme and Career Programme) and Project Lead the Way Pre-Engineering Program.  We also offer college level Advance Placement classes and Monroe Community College classes.

We are proud that many schools visit Eastridge each year to learn from our teachers and students and study the systems we have shaped to promote learning.  Each Eastridge student uses a laptop computer in classes and at home to support their learning and for three years, schools have been visiting to see this in action.  We also get many requests to visit the Eastridge Advancement Via Individual Determination (AVID) program.

Eastridge parents are exceptional in that they want more for their children. They stay in contact with teachers about academic progress, attend school events, and talk with their children about learning on a regular basis.  I send a weekly email to all parents and guardians with updates, explanations, and suggestions.  If you are a parent or guardian and are not receiving this E-news, please contact the attendance office to make sure your email address is correct in our computer system.  Anyone may also follow us on Twitter @Eastridge_EICSD for constant updates and news.

Thank you for visiting our homepage, and please don't hesitate to contact us if any assistance is needed.
