    Welcome to Eastridge High School!

When students graduate from Eastridge, we want to be sure that they will be able to thrive in a challenging college environment or occupation while contributing to the world as responsible citizens.

Every student should leave Eastridge successfully completing at least one college level course, though many students will go far beyond this expectation.
We have highly regarded comprehensive programs through the International Baccalaureate (Diploma Programme and Career Programme) and Project Lead the Way Pre-Engineering Program.  We also offer college level Advance Placement classes and Monroe Community College classes.  Our AVID program helps students to develop the skills and mindset to be successful in higher education, too.

A strength of Eastridge is its rich culture and diversity.  In fact, East Irondequoit is the second most diverse school district in NYS outside of the NYC area.  Our students are proud of this and understand that just by being part of the Eastridge family, they are experiencing a true slice of life in America.

Each Eastridge student uses a laptop computer in classes and at home to support their learning.  For the past five years, other schools have been contacting us to assist them with learning how to use digital tools to improve learning experiences.  We have a wide array of top notch student activities and sports.  Our facilities are on par with facilities at many colleges and our music and performing arts program constantly wins awards.

Eastridge parents are exceptional in that they want more for their children. They stay in contact with teachers about academic progress, attend school events, and talk with their children about learning on a regular basis.  I send a weekly email to all parents and guardians with updates, explanations, and suggestions.  If you are a parent or guardian and are not receiving a weekly E-news, please contact the attendance office to make sure your email address is correct in our computer system.  Anyone may also follow us on Twitter @Eastridge_EICSD for constant updates and news.

Thank you for visiting our school's subsite, and please don't hesitate to contact us if any assistance is needed.
