East Irondequoit Transportation Department supplies transportation to students in the East Irondequoit Central School District. Transportation is provided for students in grade K-5 who live at least ¼ mile from school; for students in grades 6-8 who live at least ¾ mile from school; and for students in grades 9-12 who live at least 1 mile from school. Our goal is to provide all eligible students with a safe and efficient bus ride.
Parents can access their child’s bus assignment in the Parent Portal. Students in grades 6-12 will also be able to view their bus assignment in the Campus Student app. The bus assignment will include: bus number, bus stop location, and pick up and drop off times. Remember the first two to three weeks of school the buses tend to run late. If you have a problem with a bus after the startup of school, please give us a call. All Eastridge High School and East Irondequoit Middle School students are required to carry their school identification card/bus pass in order to ride the bus home from school.
SINCE TRAFFIC AND WEATHER CONDITIONS MAY AFFECT ARRIVAL TIME, PLEASE ALLOW A FIVE-MINUTE VARIANCE TO ALLOW FOR THESE FACTORS.
Due to COVID restrictions and contact tracing, students will not be allowed to ride a bus other than the one in which they are assigned during the 2021-22 school year.
