Laurelton Pardee Presents "Beauty and the Beast Tell All"
Nearly 90 students at Laurelton Pardee Intermediate School started working on their production of “Beauty and the Beast Tell All” back in October. On February 8 all that hard worked came together when they presented the show in a performance held in the Durand Eastman Auditorium.
From set building, to costumes, to performing students had a hand in all aspects of the show.
The play tells about Beauty and the Beast and their story after the legend we all know ends. They are on a quest to decide which genre of literature they want to use in order to best tell their tale. They meet a wide variety of characters, from journalists to legendary creatures that may or may not exist.
It was an entertaining performance that also taught a thing or two about different styles of writing.
