The Eastridge Robotics Team closed out their most successful FISRT Finger Lakes Regional ever with a 6th place finish on March 16. They also were presented the Imagery Award for showing the theme of the competition through the team members and robot design.
This year’s competition was based on a space launch and teams competed to collect cargo, seal hatches and climb onto an elevated platform. The Iron Lancers got off to a quick start, winning their first three matches on day one, which put them in first place overall. They wouldn’t drop out of the top ten for the entire weekend and their final position was the best ever for the team.
