East Irondequoit CSD is excited to announce that Timothy Baker has been appointed as an assistant principal at Eastridge High School by the Board of Education on August 8, 2023. Mr. Baker was previously an assistant principal at Geneva High School. Prior to becoming an assistant principal, Baker worked as a special education teacher at Monroe 2 BOCES.  He has a bachelor’s degree in special education from Roberts Wesleyan College and a master’s degree in special education from Concordia University and an administrative certification from the University of Rochester.  His passion is showing students multiple pathways to success and achievement in their education. “Even with barriers and challenges, students can learn at the highest levels, and I am an example of that daily, like so many others” states Baker.  “I am honored daily to be in this position”.   Baker said he is excited to join EICSD and be a part of a team and district that goes above and beyond to see all students succeed.   He will join the Eastridge High School administration team in September.
