East Irondequoit Central School District is pleased to welcome Caitlin Gnann as the new Assistant Principal at Eastridge High School. She will support students in grades 9–12 whose last names begin with P and Z. Ms. Gnann brings over 15 years of experience in education, most recently serving as School Dean, 12th Grade Government/Economics Teacher, Social Studies Department Chair, and Upperclassmen Team Leader at a secondary school in East New York, Brooklyn.
A Rochester native and Fairport High School graduate, Ms. Gnann holds a bachelor’s degree in Secondary Education/History from SUNY Geneseo, a master’s in Secondary Special Education from Loyola University Maryland, and a second master’s in Progressive Leadership from Bank Street College of Education. Her work is grounded in the belief that students thrive when they feel seen and supported by a strong community. She is passionate about helping students and families navigate college and career pathways.
