Three EHS AVID juniors had an unforgettable experience. They joined a Zoom call with Atlanta Falcons running back Nathan Carter as part of their AVID career shadowing and interviewing unit.
Nate shared insights on life as an athlete at the high school, college, and pro levels, and gave powerful advice on success:

On Tuesday, Dec. 9, voters will decide on a $10.77 million proposal to purchase new school buses that support both environmental goals and operational needs. This proposal ensures the district can continue providing safe, dependable transportation for students while maintaining fiscal responsibility and imposing no tax increase on residents.

This season, Eastridge High School’s Student Government came together to make a difference in our community by organizing a food drive to support the Irondequoit Community Cupboard. To make the event even more engaging, they turned it into a friendly competition among grade levels to see which class could donate the most items!
Students rallied together, bringing in canned goods, pantry staples, and other essentials to help local families in need. #LancersLEAD

We’re so proud of our Eastridge students! 💙🦃 Both the girls volleyball team and the Irondequoit Fire Explorers took part in the Primetime585 Thanksgiving Program, each giving back in unique ways. The volleyball team shopped for groceries to support local families, while the Fire Explorers delivered Thanksgiving baskets to seniors at Seth Green Seneca Tower.
