HR students raised $1191.80 for the Heart 2 Hands Foundation, surpassing last year's total! In celebration of their fundraising, students in the top 5 classrooms that raised the most money and one teacher got to dump slime on Mr. D! Once the slime was poured, students on the 2nd grade council covered him in sparkles. Today and tomorrow Helendale students are finding enrichment through gardening! So much of learning can be hands-on and play based, including getting a bit dirty and working together with friends! We are lucky to have this chance, and such beautiful gardens!

Today is Day #11 with our kindergarten chick eggs! We candled our eggs to peek inside and see what may be growing! Many of our eggs have embryos inside so we’re hoping for a good hatch next week!

It's official! Class of 2036 has signed on to be Lancers! Signing bonuses included crayons and an alphabet coloring book! We can't wait to have our new friends as kindergartners next year!!
Kindergarteners at HR visited Guida's today to make their own pizzas and learn about the restaurant. A perfect way to wrap up their "How To" unit! Special thanks to Mark Guida who donates his time to do this for our students and has for many years. #WeAreEI
