Parent and Child:

This class is designed to familiarize young children to the water and prepare them to learn to swim. It is not designed to teach children to become good swimmers or to survive in the water on their own. It is a great way to spend time with your child. An adult must be in the water with the child. Children in diapers must wear appropriate swim pants. Ages 6 months to 4 years old.

8:30-9:00 a.m.

Pre-School:
This class is designed to orient preschool-age children to the aquatic environment and to help them acquire rudimentary levels of basic aquatic skills. Ages 4-5 years old.

First Session
9:00-9:30 a.m.

Second Session
9:30-10:00 a.m.

Level One:
This class is designed to begin developing positive attitudes, good swimming habits and safe practices in and around the water. Submerge face, blow bubbles, front and back glides and floats. Ages 6 years old and up.

First Session:
10:00-10:30 a.m.

Second Session:
10:30-11:00 a.m.

Level Two:
This class is designed to give participants success with fundamental skills, including learning how to float without support and to recover to a vertical position. Participants must be comfortable going under water.
10:00-10:30 a.m.

Level Three:
This class is designed to building on the skill in Level 2 by providing additional guided practice in deeper water. Introduces the front crawl and elementary backstroke.
10:30-11:00 a.m.

Level Four:
This class is designed to develop participants confidence in the strokes learned in Level 3 and to improve other aquatic skills.
9:30-10:00 a.m.

Level Five:
This class is designed to have participants learn how to coordinate and refine strokes.
