The East Irondequoit Board of Education has approved the appointment of Jarett Rhoads as the district’s new Director of Athletics.

Rhoads has been a dedicated member of the East Irondequoit community for over 20 years, serving as Head Athletic Trainer since 2003.  He brings a wealth of experience and a deep commitment to student-athletes.

He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science from SUNY Buffalo and a Master’s in Athletic Administration from SUNY Brockport.

Rhoads is passionate about mentoring students and helping them build the tools they need for success beyond high school—whether in athletics or life.

Rhoads said. “It’s an honor to take on this new role and help shape a culture where our student-athletes strive to be champions in the classroom, the community, and on the field.”

He added, “This opportunity means the world to me. I look forward to honoring our traditions while helping our student-athletes reach their full potential.”
