The East Irondequoit Central School District Board of Education is seeking to fill a vacant seat following a recent resignation.
Interested residents are invited to apply by completing an online application through Microsoft Forms. The application includes questions about your background, interest in serving, and availability.

Eligibility Requirements (per New York State Law)
To be eligible to serve on the Board of Education, applicants must:
Be a U.S. citizen
Be at least 18 years old
Be able to read and write
Have resided in the East Irondequoit Central School District for at least one year
Not be an employee of the district
Not reside in the same household as another current board member
Not hold another public office that is incompatible with board service
Not have been removed from a school district office within the past year
All board members are also required to complete state-mandated training in fiscal oversight and governance within their first year of service.

Paper copies of the application are also available at the District Office (600 Pardee Road, Rochester, NY 14609) for those who prefer or require a physical form. Completed paper applications must be returned by the deadline.
