We hope you are enjoying the last few weeks of summer! With the new school year starting soon, we want to remind you of what you need for the 2026-2027 school year:

2. NYS Cellphone Law Information
To help students stay focused, connected, and ready to learn, our district has a cellphone/internet connected device free policy in accordance with the NYS Distraction-Free Schools Law.
To support this initiative, each East Irondequoit school has a secure, consistent, and equitable approach to managing student cell phone use during the school day. You can view your student(s) school plan, here.
4. School Supplies Info
School supplies are free for all students, no matter their income. Also, all students receive other benefits at no cost. These include protection for electronic devices like iPads and laptops. They also get free instrument rental, waivers for ACT and AP tests, waivers for MCC dual enrollment tuition and more.

7. CEP Income Paper Form
Visit our website to fill out the 2026 household income form. You can also fill out the form on the Infinite Campus Parent Portal.
8. Sports Registration
Is your student athlete interested in playing a fall sport? Sign-ups for fall sports are open for 7th through 12th grade students. This includes Modified, JV, and Varsity teams. Varsity and JV sports begin on August 17th. Modified sports start on August 24th.

9. Bus Assignments
Families will get their students' bus assignments around the last week of August.
Remaining Kindergarten Bus Orientation Dates:

10. Free Breakfast and Lunch
Lastly, remember our breakfast and lunch are FREE for all students regardless of economic status.
