While our students were enjoying their day off today, our faculty and staff were doing some important learning today, including some team building and brainstorming around the district's Stonger Connections Grant work seeking to increase social emotional learning district-wide. #LancerPride #StrongerConnections
Last night, the ENL department hosted a Parent Information Session open to all ENL families in the district. The evening began with families enjoying pizza and light refreshments. Families were also invited to bring in a dish representing their culture to share, as an opportunity to celebrate each other’s cultures. #LancerPride
Our next alum is BOE member Doreen Swan! We are highlighting her this #ThrowbackThursday for #LancersForLife. Doreen has grown up in the district since she was three years old and has great memories and friends from her time as a student! Ivan Green students celebrated Hispanic Heritage Month today with a fun dance assembly. Students had a blast watching and dancing with performers. One IG student's mom was even on stage! 👏💃
