This week's #TeamAppreciationTuesday goes to Laurel Collins, School Secretary & Heidi Bishop, Attendance Clerk at IG. "These two are the faces of our main office. Mrs. Collins is known for her larger-than-life personality. She loves to dress up in costume and participate in theme days. Mrs. Bishop is the quiet force who is kind and hard working. They go together like peanut butter and jelly!" - Principal Hiley #LancerLove

IG celebrated Read Across America Week with a Reading Road Trip. Each class set a goal of how many read-a-louds they could complete in a week and charted their progress on a map. Some classes “visited” different states by reading books that were set in that state, then they colored in that state on the map as they journey across the USA. Our I-Van Green van driven by Mr. Hiley moved down the hallway to record all the books read during the week. Ivan Green read a total of 372 books!
