Students at Durand Eastman had the exciting opportunity to meet author Vivian Vande Velde, writer of 8 Class Pets + 1 Squirrel ÷ 1 Dog = Chaos, the featured title for this year’s One School, One Book program. They shared their favorite moments from the story and had their copies signed. To celebrate the book even further, the school created a "Pet Wall" showcasing photos of beloved pets belonging to both students and staff. 🐶📚

The Scholastic Achievement Recognition Ceremony was held at Eastridge last night to celebrate exceptional academic accomplishments. Highlights of the evening included the presentation of Scholar Book Awards, the distribution of pins and diploma honors, the awarding of the Seal of Civic Readiness, and the recognition of the Salutatorian and Valedictorian. 🎓📚🌟
