Math work in first grade! Our teachers spend 1:1 time with all students during math workshop. We all belong in the math classroom. Everyone is a “math person” with the right teacher! ✖️➗➕➖🧮

We continue to teach students strategies to prevent bullying behavior. We must grow in our confidence, and with help from teachers we can curb mean behavior.

At Helendale, students in Ms. McCrae & Ms. Abel's class have spent December traveling around the world to visit 16 countries and learn about their winter holidays. Today, Elizabeth Wyatt's kindergarten class at HR learned about Israel and Hannukah traditions. They played dreidel, made their own menorahs and tried latkes!
