Ivan Green students and staff have been on an incredible journey to reach their BEAR (Be Enthusiastic About Reading) Goal of 4,000 books. 🐻📚 With the help of their lovable mascot, Lance the Bear, and his friend Mrs. Dunn, who have been spreading the joy of reading on the morning show, they've been inspired to read more and more each day!
Students and staff didn't just meet their goal— They surpassed it by reading a whopping 4,110 books! 🎉👏 To celebrate this fantastic achievement, every student received a special bookmark featuring Lance. 📖✨ #LancerPride

IG students in Mrs. Pollock's class had so much fun building and decorating gingerbread houses with their families! 🍫❄️😊
Today, Ms. Suppa's class had an exciting visit to the library! They listened to the story of the Gingerbread Man and, when he encountered the fox halfway through, the students brainstormed creative ways for him to escape. They disguised their gingerbread men and built boats, bridges, or traps to outsmart the fox. 🦊🍪📚










Murphy the therapy dog was spreading good cheer to Ms. Frey and Ms. Holmes' classes, giving high fives and soaking up all the love and pets. 🐾❤️#LancerPride










Our IG families enjoyed a celebration of learning this afternoon! We are so proud of our kindergarteners who have been learning all about the five senses. Students participated in stations where they could use each sense with their families. 👁️👂

Today, IG 2nd graders had a special visit from Murphy the Therapy Dog! 🐾 Ms. DiMaria introduced Murphy to the class, read a story about therapy dogs, and taught the students how to greet Murphy. Murphy even demonstrated his favorite trick—giving high fives! 🐶✋#LancerPride
