Ivan Green students and staff exceeded their BEAR Home Reading Program Goal!!! Their goal was to read 3,000 books by January 1st. As of December 20th, the students have read 3,600 books exceeded the goal by 600 books! To celebrate their success, each student will receive a certificate for free Timbits at Tim Hortons. Students in Mrs. Van Vliet's classroom got a special treat today when a student's father visited and played his saxophone for the class. #WeAreEI








Ms. Frey's class at IG are learning about family traditions. One student's mother came in to read "The Lucky Grapes" by Tracey Kyle about a Spanish New Years Eve tradition. After, students each ate a grape for every new year's wish they shared with the class!

'Tis the season! The EHS Class of 2025 is hosting a Breakfast with Santa fundraiser on Saturday 12/9! Make sure to RSVP!

Reminder: On Monday, Nov. 20, students in grades UPK-8 will now have a day off from school instead of a half day. Teachers will use the morning for staff development and the afternoon will be dedicated to parent-teacher conferences.

Ms. McElligott's class created a Thanksgiving Day Parade after learning about the engineers who design and create the balloons and floats for the parade from the book 'Balloons Over Broadway'. They also watched videos of past parades to get some ideas. #LancerPride #WeAreEI
