IG students in Miss Healey's classroom had a Publishing Party today to celebrate the new book they created as a class called Creature Features! Each student researched an animal, wrote about it and illustrated a picture! We are so proud of our young authors! 📝📚📖 #LancerPride

Before the Celebration of Learning event, Ivan Green’s second graders visited the Rochester Public Market and made a list of healthy foods available there. The classrooms then used these foods to create presentations highlighting good eating habits. 🍉🍓

It was a special day at Ivan Green! Kindergarten, first, and second graders enjoyed a fun butterfly release in the courtyard. They had the opportunity to observe the butterfly life cycle, watching them transform from tiny caterpillars. 🐛🦋☀️
