Absentee and Early Voter Ballot Applications Available

Absentee Ballot: Residents unable to vote because of disabilities, illness, travel or other reasons listed as valid under the NYS education law, may request applications for absentee ballots.

Early Mail Voting Ballot: : Qualified voters of the district may wish to use an early mail ballot. Voters must apply for the ballot in advance.

Absentee and early mail voting applications are available at the links below or by contacting the District Clerk, Carleigh Bellingham, at (585) 339-1210 or cbellingham@eastiron.org.

Residents who wish to receive an absentee or early mail ballot in the mail must file their application with the district clerk no later than Tuesday, December 3, 2024.

Residents may file their application and pick up their absentee ballot in person from the district clerk through Monday, December 9, 2024.

In all cases, the ballot must be returned to the Administrative Office no later than 5 pm on Tuesday, December 10, 2024. No ballots can be accepted at the polling place. Ballots received later than 5 pm, on Tuesday, December 10, 2024, cannot be accepted under State Education Law, regardless of the postmark date.
