It's Thursday...you know what that means! 😁👏On #ThrowbackThursday we go back in time with our EI alumni during #LancersForLife! EI's Laurelton Pardee School Instrumental Music Teacher/Curriculum Leader David Savine has come full circle with his time as a student and teacher at East Irondequoit.
"I was fortunate to have an opportunity to come back and contribute to the rich legacy of music in East Irondequoit. The music department was a huge part of my development during my formidable years and obviously inspired me to become a music teacher. The music department in East Irondequoit changed my life and I am thrilled to have the opportunity to be a small part of the education of the many students I have taught so far in my career."
🤺🛡️🌟

Students and staff came prepared to show their school spirit today! Old vs. Young day has been a riot; we love the creativity! 💙🙌🏻

Cassidy Chainyk & Trevor Delly's 3rd graders at LP participated in a Book Tasting today to give themselves a taste of their next ELA module about the sea! The classroom was transformed into a Starbucks where they read books about the sea while juice sippin' and goldfish snackin'.
🎉🏆Congratulation to 6th grader Esaias for receiving the Do the Right Thing Award! Esaias was nominated for this award by Dr. Bello for his efforts organizing an annual book drive in the month of September in memory of his late brother Gian. Each year the books are donated to the Rochester City School District and the Golisano Children's Hospital. Over the years, Esaias has collected hundreds of books in his brother's memory. #LancerPride
