We are so thankful for our National Junior Honor Society middle schoolers that come and read with our 3rd graders every Tuesday and Thursday!


🎉 We are excited to announce that East Irondequoit CSD has been recognized as a Best Communities for Music Education for the 9️⃣th year in a row by the NAMM Foundation! This recognition is given to schools for the outstanding efforts of teachers, administrators, parents, students, and community leaders who are making music part of a well-rounded education for every child. #WeAreEI


Mr. DeJohn and this 4th grade student designed and built a birdhouse. They used many kinds of materials, including 3-D printed shapes! 🪺🐦


Third graders are making kites in STEM as part of their culture unit!

Thank you to Mrs. Ryan-Taillie for providing our 5th graders with an opportunity to design their own personalized shoe. Congrats to this 5th grader as her design was chosen for production. Check out the photo!

Third graders are currently studying culture, and part of that was practicing the traditional seal kick from the Inuit of the Arctic Circle! We have some pretty impressive jumpers!

Reminder: today is a half day of school; dismissal is at 11:30am.

These brothers passed out bracelets in honor of Autism Awareness Month. We will proudly wear our new bling in support of all of our students who bravely interact with a world that is often confusing to them. We are so proud of our neurodiverse students!


Students in Miss Kimber's fifth grade got to zoom with Pro Football Hall of Famer Zach Thomas today. He shared that football is more than just a game and important lessons on courage, commitment, respect, honesty, and integrity.



Reminder: Parent/teacher conferences for UPK and grades K-8 will be held on Friday, April 14. There will be a HALF DAY for K-8 and NO SCHOOL for UPK. 🌞
