It’s our last day of Socktober!
Our Socktober results are in!! As a school, we collected 1,082 socks, gloves, and hats for our charity donations. 😍 Mrs. McDermott and Mrs. Boardman’s 4th graders won “best box decorations” and Ms. Konstantinidis and Ms. Byrd’s class collected the most donations!
Our Socktober Movie Fest was a success! Thank you, Maria Mammano for taking such great pictures and to our entire PTA or organizing.
LP students are wearing pink, the color of kindness as they “Sock it to Bullying!”
Don't forget! Tonight is our first PTA sponsored event- Socktober Fest Movie Night! The movie starts at 6:00pm. Bring your blankets, lawn chairs, and cozy clothes. We will be in the cafeteria, we hope to see you there!

Thank you to our families who came to our DE/LP Family Connect on a Saturday morning. Our teachers did an amazing job presenting informative sessions!
It was a busy Friday! We ended our week with a community circle to discuss the significance of Socktober and share some good news…we earned over 1,000 tickets as a school community! Students earned a movie during lunch next week with a special treat!
In preparation for Socktober, students are designing socks to reflect their personalities!
