During this week’s lunch and learn, students are reading “One Plastic Bag,” the inspiring true story of how one African woman began a movement to recycle the plastic bags that were polluting her community. Then, they’re learning how to weave plastic bags into bracelets!

LP started our One School, One Book event this morning! The kids received wrapped books and opened all together. We read the first three chapters as a school community. It was awesome!! 📚💥
