Today EHS AVID 10 students visited DE 5th graders for an inspiring day of learning, mentoring, and connecting with their revision buddies! They kicked off their time together with a fun dice game and a creative story‑telling activity to break the ice and get to know one another. Then the AVID 10 students worked side‑by‑side with their 5th grade buddies to revise a writing piece from their current Wit & Wisdom unit. 📝📖

Durand Eastman Musical is Looking for Jazz and Tap Shoes
DE students have been diving into literacy activities all week as part of Writing Slam! Today, classes teamed up with their families and peers to read an article together and complete a group summary frame. After collaborating, students put their creativity to work by crafting acrostic poems inspired by what they read. 📝💭
