The EIMS We Have a Dream Club members participated in an AVID inquiry about the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr—their club’s namesake. Students also thought about what they can do to help make the world a better place and filled out their answer to display in the school hallway. 🩵📝

As part of their exploration of Winter Holidays Around the World, 6th-grade EIMS scholars in Ms. Davis’s social studies class applied AVID strategies for organization and collaboration to study the history of gingerbread and create their own gingerbread houses.
