EIMS sixth graders are heading back to the Stone Age! ⌚✨
The building administrators and sixth grade team dressed as Stone Age characters to engage students during their AVID inquiry of how the earliest people obtained their food. Students in Ms. Davis’ class mimicked a “hunt” with her SUNY Brockport student observer, Isabella Burgos, throughout the building. When they returned to the classroom, students searched for hidden food in the classroom to represent hunting and gathering (Slim Jims, beef teriyaki, organic raisins)! 🥩🦴🌱
