Lila Platt's 6th grade classes at EIMS are celebrating Earth Day by writing, decorating and mailing post cards that are made out of recycled cardboard. They are also practicing their letter-writing skills! Many post cards were addressed to loved ones and former teachers. 🌍♻️

The EIMS We Have a Dream Club celebrated Black History Month by learning about different Black inventors! They used LEGOs to build replicas of all kinds of inventions. These LEGOs are a new learning resource made available through the district's Stronger Connections Grant.
