The EIMS student help desk had a pizza party to celebrate all their hard work so far this year. Students that work at the help desk have assisted with over 200 EIMS help desk requests so far this year and the technology skills the students are learning are invaluable. #WeAreEI


Chris Poulos, World Champion Bicycle Stunt Rider & Youth Motivational Speaker, visited the EIMS today! He demonstrated bicycle stunts and talked to students about his journey and how leading with core values like kindness, respect and perseverance got him to where he is today.







Ms. Bender's 6th grade Spanish students are learning about different Navidad traditions. Today, they had their own version of Rosca de Reyes or Three Kings Cake to celebrate Epiphany. There is a tiny baby in hidden in the cake and whoever found it in their slice was crowned for the day. If they wear the crown the entire day, they receive a bag of goodies! #WeAreEI

EIMS staff battled it out on the basketball court with Mr. Randise declared the winner of the 3-point shot, foul shot and layup contest. Mr. Randise faced off against an EIMS student who was able to make the three shots faster than him and was declared the winner of the whole contest! EIMS 6th graders in Ms. Davis's class are learning about the pirate Black Caesar as part of their Black History Month curriculum. To enhance the student's learning, the class dressed up as pirates while practicing AVID strategies during their lesson.
