In honor of #MLKDay, the EIMS We Have a Dream Club recently discussed the qualities Martin Luther King, Jr. possessed and the actions he took to impact civil rights for years to come. Students then collaborated on a project where they had the chance to write what their dreams are when it comes to ensuring peace and equality prevails in their own school.
The project is displayed at EIMS. Special thanks to the Pencils and Paper Jewish Family Services and our area Wegmans for making the foam boards available for the project.

The EIMS Ecology Club had some fun trying out the new obstacle course playground recently installed at the middle school! #WeAreEI
Ms. Davis's 6th grade classes had some fun yesterday building and dismantling gingerbread houses and cookies. They also tried eggnog and discussed polite ways to give your opinion after trying a new food or drink. EIMS Help Desk students & a group of DE students attended the STEAM Fest at the Makers Faire today. Students got to participate in hands on activities and see engaging demonstrations all centered around Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics. #WeAreEI
