LP and DE clarinet students had the opportunity to work with Ms. Fabrizio, a music teacher, clinician and performing artist during a lesson today. Students worked on their breathing using straws and balloons and then progressed to using the breathing techniques to play the clarinet. 5th graders experimented with ways to filter seriously dirty water. They had to use whatever they could find in the classroom. Next week they will see a sure way to filter the water.

4th graders are learning about sound and sound waves in STEM/library. They went on a tour of the school checking decible levels and made noisemakers out of straws to explore how vibrations affect pitch and tone.
